I hate the teachers lounge.

I do. Or at least I really dislike it. Unfortunately in a school as large as mine, there is no getting away from it as everything takes place in our department offices. I've had some negative experiences getting to know the rest of the staff this year--maybe it's because I'm so young, but I just hate the atmosphere in the office. I wish that there was somewhere I could go to get away from all of it, but until then I'll just suck it up and ignore most of the things that they talk about. I just hate listening to all of the negativity--it seems so opposite of the attitudes that I think teachers should have.
