...and it's so true. I can be completely miserable in the morning--sleep deprived and over-caffeinated and in no mood to teach whatsoever, but within the first five minutes of class I will almost always be smiling, and genuinely mean it.
This particular photo is from a reader's theater project that we did for a scene from Oedipus Rex. This group chose to perform their scene as a telenovela--in Spanish with English subtitles! It was really great, and the over-the-top posing by one of my students shows how much fun we sometimes have in class. This picture just makes me laugh.
